VOLCANIC ROCK PUMICE

There are many different tools that are offered as pumice stones, but are not made of real pumice. Real pumice is formed when volcanic rock liquefies and the lava is foamed by gases. The cooled lava then has the distinctive structure of pumice stone, which is so helpful in the fight against calluses.

Application: Soften the cornea by taking a relaxed foot or hand bath. Then gently rub the pumice stone over the affected area of skin until it is silky smooth. Follow with a moisturizer for best results.

Storage: Rinse the pumice stone thoroughly after each use. Any skin cells can be cleaned off with a brush. Best to hang to dry.

Disposal: It is best to use until the stone has dissolved itself. Alternatively in the residual waste.
