Conventional shampoos often contain over 80% water. Added to this are binding and gelling agents, preservatives, harsh surfactants, and only a very small amount of conditioning agents. Schaumies, on the other hand, contain no water at all, but rather a nourishing plant hydrolate that contains a small amount of water. With a mild surfactant from coconut and only 5% water, Schaumies are a nourishing and intensively conditioning shampoo concentrate that's incredibly effective and rich in nourishing oils and beneficial active ingredients.

Then foamies could be the solution for clear, velvety-soft skin! Many conventional hair care products contain silicones, mineral oils, and synthetic film-forming agents that build up not only in your hair but also on your skin. When you rinse these products out, the residues end up on your neck and back, where they can clog pores and cause blemishes like pimples or blackheads. Silicones and waxes, which are particularly difficult to wash out , are a common trigger, as they leave an airtight layer on the skin.

Our foamies solve this problem because they are free of silicones, paraffins, wax substances, and synthetic film-forming agents . Instead, we rely on gentle, plant-based surfactants that thoroughly cleanse the hair and rinse out without leaving any residue.

Solid soaps and our foamies have some differences, especially in their formulation and application. Solid soaps often consist of a mixture of oils and caustic soda, which are formed into solid bars during the leaching process.

Our Schaumies, on the other hand, are not saponified, but blended and pressed. They are specially formulated as a water-free, solid shampoo concentrate and contain mild surfactants from coconut for gentle cleansing. They are similar in use to solid soaps, as they can also be applied directly to wet skin and lathered up.

An important difference is the skin-neutral pH of our shower gels, which aims to respect the skin's natural pH of 5.5 and thus prevent irritation. Solid soaps, on the other hand, can have a higher pH depending on their composition, which can be problematic for some people with sensitive skin. Our foam gels are therefore particularly suitable for people with sensitive skin, as they offer gentle cleansing without drying out or irritation.
