How do you actually use... Ghassoul?

Ghassoul is a true beauty all-rounder! The Moroccan lava clay combines shampoo, shower gel and mask in one product! The natural product does this without any surfactants or other additives. The fine particles of this special clay are structured in such a way that they easily bind dirt and grease. Skin and hair are cleaned very gently but thoroughly. Incidentally, this is what makes Ghassoul so popular in the care of impure skin.

How it works:

Depending on the application, the ghassoul powder is mixed with water and then left to swell for about 10 minutes. Do not use any metal objects for this! The clay then loses its structure. We always add a palm leaf to the ghassoul powder as a scoop. If you store the mixed paste in an airtight, cool and dark place, you can prepare it for about 10 days and always have it to hand.

possible applications

body cleansing

Ratio: 1 heaping bowl of ghassoul powder to 6 tablespoons of water

Ghassoul binds dirt and fat and is therefore suitable for daily body cleansing. Simply massage the mass gently onto wet skin and rinse off thoroughly. Incidentally, this also works as a bath additive.

Facial cleansing and mask

Ratio: 1/2 cup of ghassoul powder to 2 teaspoons of water

Ghassoul has a cleansing effect, but is super gentle on sensitive skin and does not irritate it with chemical ingredients. That's why Ghassoul is so popular, especially for blemishes. Simply apply to damp face, leave on for five minutes and then rinse off thoroughly.

hair washing

Ratio: 1 heaped bowl of ghassoul powder to 250ml of water

Ghassoul is a gentle way of washing your hair, even for no-poo fans. Simply massage into wet scalp until consistency becomes creamy. Then rinse well and make an acidic rinse to taste. We have explained to you here how this works.

dry shampoo

We all know it: Sometimes there is not enough time for a thorough hair wash. If you're in a hurry, just put some ghassoul powder on the greasy roots, rub through and brush out. Due to the color, Ghassoul as a dry shampoo suits medium to dark hair best. You can also find our dry shampoos for different hair colors here in the shop .

    Liebe Ela,
