Ingredient Lexicon

The Cosmetics Regulation according to the EU Cosmetics Directive stipulates that cosmetics suppliers must list and name ingredients. Vegetable substances, for example, must be named in Latin. This can be a bit confusing for some.

Cosmetics should be transparent - that's why we present an understandable translation for each ingredient as well as the functions in cosmetic products.

You can also find a list of all ingredients including translations, explanations and functions for each individual item on the product page. Just click on the "Ingredients" tab and find out what's in your favorite products and why.

By the way : Did you know that the ingredients are listed according to the amount in which they are contained? The first ingredient makes up the largest percentage of the product. The last, on the other hand, accounts for the smallest proportion in the end product.
